What does a Belsura Credit Insurance cover?

At Belsura, we recommend «Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst». With payment protection insurance, you can mitigate the risk of payment default. It costs very little and covers your monthly loan installments in the event of unemployment, inability to work, or death.

Unemployment

In the case of 100% involuntary unemployment, you are fully insured. Belsura Credit Insurance will cover your loan payments up to CHF 4,000 per month.

Inability to work

If you become unable to work, Belsura Credit Insurance helps. It covers up to CHF 4,000 of your loan installments per month. This applies if you receive no or reduced income from your employer due to illness or an accident.

Outstanding debt in case of death

If you pass away due to an accident or illness, Belsura Credit Insurance covers the remaining outstanding debt up to CHF 100,000 or up to the amount stated in your insurance confirmation. The lower of the two amounts will always be applied.
